Crothers provides highly detailed pen & ink and digital illustrations of a variety of topics in paleontology. These works are each hand-drawn and require dozens of hours of interdisciplinary research. Crothers’ work takes inspiration from 1970s French comic books, Victorian science illustration, and the works of Ray Troll.
